Appointment of Vanuatu International Companies Limited

ghlimited_2011The Vanuatu Financial services Commission [VFSC] is pleased to announce the appointment of Vanuatu International Companies Limited [VIC] on 16th April 2010 as its Authorized Representative in China mainly for the purpose of marketing

Vanuatu financial services products especially international companies during the Shanghai World Expo. Initially problems arose when commercial banks in Hong Kong would not open bank accounts for Vanuatu international companies. Fortunately, as a result of tireless efforts of VIC and the VFSC, this problem has now been resolved. A successful completion of a test case last week and now the 3 international banks including HSBC has agreed to work with VIC to facilitate the process of bank accounts for Vanuatu international companies in Hong Kong.

To build on this achievement, VIC will now work very closely with the VFSC to launch a major marketing campaign for Vanuatu international companies in China beginning April 2011. This campaign will begin in the southern provinces of China is expected to be extended throughout China within the next 24 months. The VFSC is most grateful for the efforts of VIC especially as it has agreed to finance the marketing campaign in China in its entirety.
